OTHER THINGS TO KNOW
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable layered clothing that allows maximum movement such as sweat pants, leggings, or shorts, and a t-shirt that’s not too baggy. You will be barefoot during class. Please do not wear street shoes into our reception room or yoga sanctuary.
Should I eat before class?
An empty stomach or near empty stomach is always best. However, to avoid hunger or feeling weak during class try a light snack such as yogurt, a few nuts or crackers about 30 minutes to an hour beforehand. It is also important to be sure you are hydrated before, during and after class.
What should I bring?
We encourage you to bring your own sticky mat or yoga mat. A limited supply of sticky mats are available for your use at the studio. You might also bring water and a towel.
What if I’ve never done yoga before?
Yoga is for every body…even if you don’t consider yourself to be flexible. Yoga will help you to become stronger and more flexible. Part of yoga practice is learning to be patient and to accept where the body is in the present moment.
