Creating a Meditation Practice with June, a four week Series CONTINUES BY POPULAR DEMAND MONDAY JULY 12, 19, AND AUGUST 2ND & 9th Mondays at 5:00 pm.
This four week series is designed for both beginners and those who have begun to meditate but are looking for ways to enhance their understanding and expand their practice. In the first week, we will review the physiological science behind meditation and why it works to help create relaxation and reduce pain. The first week, we will practice meditations that induce the relaxation response. Weeks two, three and four will include the practice of autogenics, learning about the chakras, and actual practice of guided and self meditations. Cost: $60.00 for the four week series. First Wednesday Meditation FREE EVERY WEDNESDAY DURING AUGUST 12:30 to 1:00 pm. with June We have noticed many communities have opened up “Cooling Centers” where folks can retreat during the day to get some relief from the heat. We have dubbed our studio a Cooling & Calming Center every Wednesday at 12:30! Come out of the sun and come get CALM!!!
YIN/YANG Class with Sharon the first Friday of every Month: Note: August class is Friday, August 6th 6-7:15 pm. Come explore the benefits of both YANG (fluid and moving) yoga with YIN YOGA (stillness and centering). YANG is typically viewed as stronger yoga, being male, while YIN has been viewed as being more female in nature. Learn the benefits of experiencing both in one class. Drop in: $15.00 or class cards may be utilized.
A Mid-Summers Night YOGA DANCE with Vicky Thursday August 12th, 6:45 to 8:00 pm. Join our YogaDance Goddess, Vicky, for an evening of letting go, dancing free on a summer’s night and then ending it all with a healing savasana (meditation). Come dance like no one is watching! Fee: $15.00 drop in or class cards may be utilized.
